●Huazhiyou Nature Farm   Huazhiyou is the only recreational farm around Machao in Yangmingshan(陽明山馬槽). It has an expansive view, and visitors may overlook the scenery around the outfall of Beihung(北磺溪口) and the ocean in the distance when the weather is fine. It is specially inviting in sunflower blooming season, usually form July to September. The large tract of gorgeous sunflowers would be shining like a golden carpet. It has a restaurant offering meals and drinks, and the owner, Mr. Lin, is in charge of kitchen himself. As a licensed Chinese Cooking chef, Mr. Lin likes to use the fresh greens grown in his farm to make the dishes, and that’s why the dishes are always with country taste. Besides his excellent cooking skills, Mr. Lin is good at making toys by the stems of foxtail. He is able to knit a small dog toy just in few minutes.
